Today we learnt about DNA
Our DNA book is 3 billion letters long.
We made DNA out of lollies.
If our DNA was made of lollies it would be 6000 km Long.

Matatriki:
Hello guys, today we are learning about Matariki.
What is Matariki?
Matariki is a Moari name for a cluster of stars also known as the Pleiades.
Story of about Matariki:
Matariki is a family of stars, They symbolise the Maori new year. From Ranginui and Papatuanuku , Tangotango and Wainui They are the parents to the family of Matariki. Matariki are seven sister stars, They are very entertaining young sisters. They love to wiz about zigzagging and zipping all around the other stars. puana ( is a red star )was very annoyed by this. Takurua ( is a blue star ) Tangotango and Wainui overheard the complaints from the other stars, and they were digging out on how to sort this out to settle their daughters, Soon they decided to give them an imported task that they could be a sign for a new year.They got Matariki to call her sister over to them. Soon the stars came together and the girls are given their responseableites. It’s bad luck if you can’t see the seven sisters but it’s good luck when you can see them clearly.

sisters are whizzing around
Red star is annoyed
Blue star clams him down
Tango and Wainui overhear the complaints
And decided to give them a responsibility
They are a sign of a new year
If you can’t see them that means bad luck
But if you can see them I means good luck
Week 7
14th June Friday
Hello today I will be reflecting on my week.
What went well this week:
This week we were doing a tiny house for Maths I am at the stage of colouring my walls Because I was going really fast even though this needs to tack the whole term.
What changed me:
Something that challenged me was in social studies we were making a starch off thing and I did the black paint way to think so I had to restart.
Steps:
Chose your animal
Get card and oil pastels and colour with as many colours as possible.
We are not allowed to use white black brown and grey.
Then paint over with thin layers of black paint.
Then wait for it to dry.
( I do not know the rest because we are still in the stage of drying. )
What was I able to control:
In dance we were going to do what we papered in front of everyone I was really nervous but then I did it because I knew that it was not the end of the world.
what one thing I leaned this week:
I lent the different movements in dance.
What is my goal for this week:
Try my best.
